Production and Sales Analysis of Mini Trucks and Micro Trucks in May

www.chinatrucks.com:  141,736 light trucks and 138,637 units were produced and sold in May, down 23.74% and 24.67% over last month and down 16.74% and 17.39% over last year.

And the top five truck makers on production are BAIC Foton, Dongfeng Motors, JMC, JAC and Great Wall Motors, and their production volumes were 23,417 units, 15,879 units, 14,229 units, 13,150 units and 11,024 units, and all together they produced 77,699 units, taking 54.82% market shares.
 

And the top five truck makers on sales are BAIC Foton, JMC, Dongfeng Motors, Great Wall Motors, and JAC, and their sales volumes were 26,021 units, 14,290 units, 13,877 units, 11,199 units and 11136 units, taking 55.20% shares of the total 138,637 sales volumes.
 

Sales of the top five truck makers were all declining compared to last month and it is only JMC that sales has increased over last year.
 

Production and sales of micro trucks:

39,710 micro trucks and 40,550 units were produced and sold in May, down 23.85% and 14.40% over last month and down 7.32% and 3.91% over last year.
 

The top five micro truck makers are SAIC Buick Wuling, Chongqing Changan, BAIC Foton, Dongfeng and Chery Auto and their production volumes were 14,607 units, 7,419 units, 7,254 units, 5,639 units and 1,580 units and totally they produced 36,499 units, taking 91.92% shares.
 

The top five micro truck makers on sales are SAIC Buick Wuling, BAIC Foton, Chongqing Changan, Dongfeng and Chery Auto and their sales volumes were 15,916 units, 7,224 units, 7,043 units, 5,475 units, and 1,210 units, and totally they sold 36,868 units, taking 90.92% shares.
