JAC Sold 138,740 Units of Trucks in the First Half of 2014, Down by 3%

www.chinatrucks.com: Recently, JAC (600418) released its production and sales report of June, 2014. According to the report, the company sold all kinds of vehicles and chassis 30,450 units (sets), down by 20.90% compared with last year. And in the product segmentations, the auto maker sold 18,202 units of trucks and 490 units of utility commercial vehicles, down by 9.99% and 1.21% respectively year on year. In June, the company sold their own equipped engines 16,422 units, up by 16.15% over last year.

The statistics show that JAC rolled out various vehicles and chassis 27,261 units (sets) in June, down by 13.75% year on year.

It is revealed that in the first half of 2014, the auto manufacturer sold all the vehicles and chassis registered 242,671 units cumulatively, down by 11.27% compared with the growth in 2013. Also the cumulative sales of trucks were 138,740 units, down by 3.34% year on year, while that of utility commercial vehicles totaled 2,837 units, up by 3.5% compared with the first half of last year.
