JAC Delivered 300 Hunter EV Pickups
On December 6th, the bulk delivery ceremony for 300 JAC Hunter EV electric power systems was successfully held. Zhang Peng, Vice General Manager of JAC Group and Party Secretary of the Pickup Division, attended the event and officially announced the delivery. The JAC Hunter EV is China's first non-body-on-frame pure electric intelligent 4WD pickup, carefully developed by JAC Pickup. Its launch aligns with the electric power system's commitment to promoting green and low-carbon development.
At the ceremony, JAC Hunter EVs drove out one after another, proudly heading toward the power lines. These vehicles will play a key role in power line inspections, equipment maintenance, and emergency repairs, marking a major contribution to the green and low-carbon development of the electric power system.
The JAC Hunter EV is equipped with dual electric motors at the front and rear, providing a maximum torque of 516N·m and achieving 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 8 seconds. It easily handles steep inclines and obstacles. The non-body-on-frame design, combined with the intelligent 4WD system, provides excellent off-road capabilities. The vehicle is equipped with an 88kWh battery, offering a CLTC pure electric range of over 500 km, making it perfect for long-distance travel. It operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -30℃ to 65℃.
To meet the complex and variable conditions of the power sector, the JAC Hunter EV integrates several active safety technologies to ensure driving safety. Its battery pack is sealed to the IP68 dustproof and waterproof standard and is equipped with a protective plate, ensuring the vehicle’s reliability under various road conditions. Additionally, it features a 3.3kW intelligent external discharge function, allowing the vehicle to provide power wherever it’s needed, offering greater convenience for outdoor operations.
The JAC Hunter EV also provides efficient cargo-carrying capabilities for various commercial scenarios. It offers a superior solution for industries such as individual trade, emergency response, civil aviation support, and municipal inspections. Moreover, it can serve as an "all-purpose vehicle" in passenger scenarios, offering a new lifestyle for users in activities like self-driving travel, leisure fishing, and daily commuting.
Looking ahead, JAC Pickup will continue to expand its lineup of new energy vehicles. The company will focus on upgrading its ecosystem, channels, and services, aiming to meet the diverse vehicle needs of the new energy era, helping to improve efficiency in wealth creation and enhance the quality of life.
