Sales reports of China trucks in Sept.
www.chinatrucks.com: According to sales reports by CAAM, sales of heavy and medium trucks, light trucks and mini trucks kept increasing in Sept. compared to that of August, but decreasing compared to last year.
219,000 trucks and 217,500 trucks were produced in Sept., up 19.66% and 15.63% over last month. 2,006,900 trucks and 2,075,400 trucks were produced and sold from Jan. to Sept., down 4.48% and 2.36% over last year. 37,900 truck chassis were produced and 39,500 units were sold, up 22.96% and 13.61% over August, and down 28.89% and 22.87% over last year. 24,700 semi-trailers were produced and 23,600 units were sold, up 22.58% and 11.06% over August, down 9.92% and 11.20%.
2,006,900 trucks were produced and 2,075,400 units were sold from Jan. to Sept., down 4.48% and 2.36%. 437,700 truck chassis were produced and 465,300 units were sold, down 16.07% and 11.40% over last year. 188,600 semi-trailer tractors were produced, and 198,600 units were sold, down 31.39% and 28.09%.
59,300 heavy trucks were produced in Sept., and 60,700 units were sold, down 16.57% and 12.56% over last year. 15,100 heavy trucks were produced and 16,000 units were sold, down 1.91% and up 3.71% over last year. 19,500 heavy truck chassis were produced, and 21,100 units were sold, down 30.99% and 23.01%; and 24,700 semi-trailer tractors and 23,600 units were produced and sold, down 9.92% and 11.20%.
5,239 heavy trucks between 26 tons and 32 tons were sold in Sept., up 17.07%, and 7,587 heavy trucks between 19 tons and 26 tons were sold, down 3.73%, and 2,957 heavy trucks between 14 tons and 19 tons were sold, down 0.07%.
The top three heavy truck makers are Dongfeng Commercial Vehicles, FAW and Sinotruk, and their sales volumes were 150,400 units, 125,400 units down 2.40%, 30.16% and 20.84%. And the 4th and 6th heavy truck makers are Foton, 85,800 units, Shaanxi Auto, 81,200 units and JAC, 32,700 units.
23,200 medium trucks were produced and 22,000 units were sold, down 3.23% and 9.17% over last year.
15,400 medium trucks were produced and 14,600 units were sold in Sept., up 6.54% and down 3.80%, and 7,763 medium truck chassis and 7,364 units were sold, down 18.11% and 18.24%.
3,537 medium trucks between 8 tons and 10 tons were sold, up 35.26%, and 5,781 trucks between 6 tons and 8 tons were sold, down 21.46%.
The top three medium truck makers are Dongfeng Commercial Vehicles, FAW and Chongqing Lifan, and their sales volumes were 64,100 units, 33,800 units, and 20,300 units, down 25.04%, up 8.77% and 217.72%. And the following 4th to 6th medium truck makers are Qingling, Sichuan Nanjun and JAC, and their sales were 19,600 units, 17,700 units, and 13,800 units.
159,300 light trucks were produced in Sept., and 155,700 units were sold, down 11.02% and 7.19% over last year. 148,900 light complete vehicles were produced and sold, down 9.97% and 6.72%, and 10,400 light truck chassis and 10,800 chassis were produced and sold, down 23.75% and 13.05%.
84,400 light trucks between 1.8 tons and 3.5 tons were sold, down 5.75%.
The top three light truck makers are Foton, JAC and Dongfeng, and their sales were 312,400 units, 141,800 units and 115,700 units, and the 4th to 6th were Jinbei, Great Wall and JMC, and their sales were 108,800 units, 91,000 units and 90,800 units.
