CAAM: 284,000 Heavy Trucks Sold in Q1

www.chinatrucks.com: In March, the sales volume of heavy truck is 114,600 units, up by 53,36% year on year. The sales volume of heavy trucks in Q1 is 284,000 units, up by 93.02% year on year.

On April 11, 2017, CAAM announces official statistics. It shows that in March the sales volume of truck totals 406,000 units, up by 21.24% year on year and in Q1 it totals 960,000 units, up by 30% year on year.

Cargo trucks: the production is 374,500 units and the sales volume is 405,600 units, up by 29.36% and 43.88% over last month, and up by 13.65% and 21.24% year on year.

Heavy cargo trucks: It has achieved the production of 110,000 units and sales of 114,600 units, up by 27.87% and 32.72% over last month and up by 51.14% and 53.36% respectively year on year.

Medium cargo trucks: the production is 22,700 units and the sales volume is 23,500 units, up by 47.23% and 38.24% over last month, with production decreasing by 7.59% but sales volume increasing by 5.91% year on year.

Light cargo trucks: the production is 183,900 units and the sales volume is 189,400 units, up by 40.19% and 45.77% over last month, and up by 8.90% and 6.18% year on year.

Micro cargo trucks: the production is 57,900 units and the sales volume is 78,000 units, up by 1.81% and 60.69% over last month, with production decreasing by 8.56% but sales volume increasing by 38.81% year on year.

Production and sales volume in Q1

Cargo trucks: the production is 931,500 units and the sales in units for Q1 is 959,100 units, up by 21.37% and 30.07% year on year.

Heavy cargo trucks: the production is 277,900 units and the sales volume is 284,000 units, up by 79.35% and 93.02% year on year.

Medium cargo trucks: the production and sales is 51,800 units and 55,500 units respectively, with production decreasing by 6.77% and sales volume increasing by 11.80% year on year.

Light cargo trucks: the production is 436,500 units and the sales volume is 438,600 units, up by 11.32% and 12.07% year on year.

Micro cargo trucks: the production is 165,300 units and the sales volume is 181,000 units, up by 0.29% and 21.24% year on year.
