Production and Sales of Medium Trucks and Heavy Trucks in October

www.chinatrucks.com: Statistics of CAAM indicated that Chinese truck manufacturers produced 239,979 units and sold 233,294 units of trucks (incomplete truck and semi-tractor and trailer included) in October, 2014, down by 7.28% and 5.77% respectively over last month, and down by 16.19% and 15.33% respectively year on year.

Production and sales of heavy trucks:

In October, the production and sales volumes of heavy trucks (incomplete truck and semi-tractor and trailer included) were 50,343 units and 51,296 units, down by 7.28% and 5.77% respectively compared with last month, down by 16.19% and 15.33% respectively year on year.

And top 5 heavy truck makers on production were Dongfeng, SINOTRUCK, Beiqi FOTON, SHACMAN and FAW that their production volumes in sequence were 11,477 units, 8,517 units, 7,576 units, 6,999 units and 6,217 units, and they totally produced 40,786 units, taking 81.02% shares.

Top 5 heavy truck manufacturers on sales were DONGFENG, Sinotruk, Faw, Beiqi Foton and SHACMAN , that their sales volumes in sequence were 10,999 units, 8,399 units, 8,135 units, 7,369 units and 6,596 units, and all together they sold 41,498 units, taking 80.90% shares of the total 51,296 units sales volumes.

Production and sales of medium truck:

In October, the production and sales volumes of medium trucks (incomplete truck included) were 19,315 units and 20,144 units, up by 2.95% and 0.45% respectively compared with last month, down by 11.14% and 7.90% respectively year on year.

And top 5 medium truck makers on production were DONGFENG, Sinotruk, LIFAN, FAW and QINGLING, that their production volumes in sequence were 3,974 units, 3,719 units, 3,554 units, 2,943 units and 1,497 units, and they totally produced 15,687 units, taking 81.22% shares.

Top 5 medium truck manufacturers on sales were DONGFENG, FAW, Sinotruk, Lifan and Qingling, that their sales volumes in sequence were 4,386 units, 3,339 units, 3,144 units, 3,032 units and 1,722 units, and all together they sold 15,623 units, taking 77.56% shares of the total 20,144 units sales volumes.
