Production and Sales of Medium Trucks and Heavy Trucks in September

www.chinatrucks.com: Statistics of CAAM indicated that Chinese truck manufacturers produced 226,384 units and sold 230,981 units of trucks (incomplete truck and semi-tractor and trailer included) in September, 2014, up by 23.85% and 16.81% respectively over last month, and down by 24.52% and 21.52% respectively year on year.

Production and sales of heavy trucks:

In September, the production and sales volumes of heavy trucks (incomplete truck and semi-tractor and trailer included) were 54,297 units and 54,437 units, up by 26.25% and 13.11% respectively compared with last month, down by 13.02% and 15.02% respectively year on year.

And top 5 heavy truck makers on production were Dongfeng, FAW,  SINOTRUCK, SHACMAN and Beiqi FOTON that their production volumes in sequence were 13,405 units, 8,767 units, 8,107 units, 7,054 units and 6,857 units, and they totally produced 44,190 units, taking 81.39% shares.

Top 5 heavy truck manufacturers on sales were DONGFENG, Sinotruk, Faw, SHACMAN and Beiqi Foton, that their sales volumes in sequence were 12,106 units, 8,940 units, 8,523 units, 7,277 units and 7,143 units, and all together they sold 43,989 units, taking 80.81% shares of the total 54,437 units sales volumes.

Production and sales of medium truck:

In September, the production and sales volumes of medium trucks (incomplete truck included) were 18,762 units and 20,054 units, up by 14.69% and 24.49% respectively compared with last month, down by 20.45% and 13.11% respectively year on year.

And top 5 medium truck makers on production were DONGFENG, FAW, LIFAN, Sinotruk and QINGLING, that their production volumes in sequence were 4,556 units, 3,728 units, 2,986 units, 2,718 units and 1,482 units, and they totally produced 15,470 units, taking 82.45% shares.

Top 5 medium truck manufacturers on sales were DONGFENG, FAW, Lifan, Sinotruk and Qingling, that their sales volumes in sequence were 5,534 units, 4,152 units, 2,589 units, 2,473 units and 1,343 units, and all together they sold 13,829 units, taking 80.24% shares of the total 20,054 units sales volumes.
