Production and Sales of Medium Trucks and Heavy Trucks in June

www.chinatrucks.com: Statistics of CAAM indicated that Chinese truck manufacturers produced 205,142 units and sold 229,518 units of trucks (incomplete truck and semi-tractor and trailer included) in June, 2014, down by 25.80% and 15.66% respectively over last month, and down by 21.02% and 22.91% respectively year on year.

Production and sales of heavy trucks:

In June, the production and sales volumes of heavy trucks (incomplete truck and semi-tractor and trailer included) were 55,094 units and 63,720 units, down by 27.23% and 13.80% respectively compared with last month, down by 6.56% and 15.14% respectively year on year.

And top 5 heavy truck makers on production were SHANCMAN, FAW, SINOTRUCK, Beiqi FOTON and Dongfeng, that their production volumes in sequence were 9,657 units, 9,081 units, 8,883 units, 8,671 units and 8,388 units, and they totally produced 44,680 units, taking 81.10% shares.

According to the chart, compared with last month, only SHANCMAN of the top 5 produced more trucks which ranked NO.1.. top 5 heavy trucks companies made fewer units of truck than they did in the last month. Compared with last year, just the production of SHANCMAN and Sinotruck achieved up.

Top 5 heavy truck manufacturers on sales were DONGFENG, SHACMAN, SINOTRUCK and FAW FOTON, that their sales volumes in sequence were 13,662 units, 10,197 units, 9,202 units, 9,187 units and 9,095 units, and all together they sold 51,343 units, taking 80.58% shares of the total 63,720 units sales volumes.

In June, the production and sales volumes of medium trucks (incomplete truck included) were 13,765 units and 17,115 units, down by 28.70% and 9.99% respectively compared with last month, down by 41.57% and 34.92% respectively year on year.

And top 5 medium truck makers on production were FAW, DONGFENG, QINGLING, LIFAN and SINOTRUCK, that their production volumes in sequence were 4,080 units, 3,531 units, 1,994 units, 1,246 units and 628 units, and they totally produced 11,479 units, taking 83.39% shares.

Top 5 medium truck manufacturers on sales were DONGFENG, FAW, SINOTRUCK, Qingling and HYUNDRI, that their sales volumes in sequence were 4,768 units, 4,081 units, 2,170 units, 2,046 units and 1,193 units, and all together they sold 14,258 units, taking 83.31% shares of the total 17,115 units sales volumes. And the NO.5. Sichuan HYUNDRI enter the top 5 the first time.
