Production and Sales of Trucks in July 2013

www.chinatrucks.com: In July, production and sales of China trucks (including non-complete vehicles and semi tractors) are 241,356 units and 238,582 units, down by 7.08% and 19.87% over last month, but up by 15.86% and 10.23% year on year. From Jan. to July, production and sales of China trucks (including non-complete vehicles and semi tractors) are 2,061,211 units and 2,088,206 units, rising by 8.31% and 6.31% respectively. The production and sales of complete are 1,631,627 units and 1,649,134 units, up by 7.85% and 5.67% respectively year on year. Those of semi tractors are 137,787 units and 137,346 units, up by 19.39% and 15.59% respectively. Those of non-complete trucks are 292,157 units and 301,726 units, up by 6.15% and 5.96%.

HD trucks

In July, production and sales of HD trucks (including non-complete vehicles and semi tractors) are 47,526 units and 48,864 units, up by 29.89% and 25.70% year on year. From Jan. to July, the accumulative production and sales of HD trucks (including non-complete vehicles and semi tractors) are 442,930 units and 451,543 units, up by 16.49% and 10.00% year on year. Seen from the sales, Dongfeng, FAW, SINOTRUK, FOTON and SHACMAN are top five enterprises, accumulating to sell 95,939 units, 72,968 units, 71,981 units, 65,408 units and 59,525 units and accounting for 81.02% together in total HD truck sales.

MD trucks

In July, production and sales of MD trucks (including non-complete vehicles) are 47,526 units and 48,864 units, up by 29.89% and 25.70% year on year; from Jan. to July, the accumulative production and sales of MD trucks (including non-complete vehicles) are 179,775 units and 181,076 units, up by 14.44% and 14.89% respectively. Seen from sales, Dongfeng, FAW, SINOTRUK, Chongqing Lifan and Jinbei rank top five and sell 51,422 units, 28263 units, 20,830 units, 15,006 units and 11,053 units in respective, accounting for 69.90% in total MD truck sales.

LD trucks

In July, production and sales of LD trucks (including non-complete vehicles) are 138,297 units and 133,730 units, up by 19.41% and 10.64% year on year. From Jan. to July, the accumulative production and sales of LD trucks (including non-complete vehicles) are 1,120,918 units and 1,137,698 units, up by 6.67% and 5.71% year on year. Seen from the sales, Foton, JAC, Dongfeng, Jinbei and JMC are top five enterprises, accumulating to sell 228,629 units, 137,627 units, 108,439 units, 97,460 units and 82,990 units and accounting for 57.59% together in total LD truck sales (including non-complete vehicles).

Micro trucks

In July, production and sales of micro trucks (including non-complete vehicles) are 34,298 units and 34,250 units, down by 9.22% and 12.10% year on year. From Jan. to July, the accumulative production and sales of micro trucks (including non-complete vehicles) are 317,588 units and 317,889 units, with production up by 0.84% and sales down by 0.62% year on year. Seen from the sales, SGMW, FOTON, Dongfeng, Chongqing Changan and Shandong Kama are top five enterprises, accumulating to sell 101,025 units, 64,493 units, 531,23 units, 49,320 units and 11,147 units and accounting for 87.80% together in total micro truck sales (including non-complete vehicles).
