Feature One: The market needs of China medium trucks decreased a lot, which decreased by 1,690 units comparing to 2011. Among them, the sales of the medium truck chassis increased by 6% and the complete medium truck decreased by 4.06%.

Feature Two: Both the traditional truck makers and the new truck makers made big efforts on developing new medium truck products and promoting them into the medium truck market.Among them, Beiqi Foton promoted the most new medium truck products. Feature One: Serialization

Many truck makers promoted a series of medium truck products. For example, Foton Zhucheng Factory promoted 2012 Ruiwo medium truck products, whose cargo body measurements covering 7.2m, 7.5m, 8m and 8.6m.

Feature Two: Heavy load and High-end

For example, Jiefang J6L medium new truck product technology is from Jiefeng J6 heavy truck products.

Feature Three: Light Weight of the trucks

For example, Dongfeng Liuzhou Auto promoted the Chenglong M3V medium trucks are equipped with Dongfeng Cummins and Yuchai oil saving engines as well as other equipment to make the products be lighter.

Feature Three: Large-tonnage medium truck sales and market shares increased

According to CAAM collected data, in Jan.-Dec.2012 the sales volumes of large-tonnage medium trucks (12 Ton <Total Weight≤ 14 Ton) were 37,325 units, up 26.63% over 2011. And the market share was 20.28%, up 4.29% over 2012.

Feature: Medium Trucks' customization speed up

According to CAAM collected data, in Jan.-Dec. 2012, the production volumes of medium special cargo trucks, special motor vehicle and medium truck chassis were 150,417 units, up 2.22% over 2011. The sales volume medium trucks (chassis included) were 290,269 units. And the customization rate of the medium trucks was 51.82%, increased by 1.42%.
