Fully Autonomous L4 Driving for All Scenarios
W5 is designed for open urban roads, drawing from WeRide’s 1,900 days and 40 million kilometers of Robotaxi operations. It features an industry-leading L4 self-driving system equipped with redundant sensors that precisely detect vehicles, pedestrians, traffic lights, and other road users. With 360-degree perception and all-weather operation, W5 ensures stable performance day and night, rain or shine, delivering reliable autonomous logistics services across various scenarios.
High Payload & Long Range for Greater Efficiency
Optimized for high-frequency urban logistics, W5 boasts a spacious 5.5m³ cargo compartment and a maximum payload of 1,000kg, setting it apart from competitors. Its 220km range meets the demands of express delivery, urban distribution, and long-distance logistics.
Smart Route Optimization: Analyzes real-time traffic conditions to dynamically adjust routes, avoiding congestion and improving delivery efficiency.
Modular Cargo Design: Adjustable compartments allow flexible adaptation for express deliveries, community distribution, and customized logistics needs.
Additionally, W5 supports multi-vehicle fleet operation, enabling a single operator to manage an entire fleet. With its all-electric drivetrain and 24/7 availability, it significantly lowers operational costs.
Multi-Layered Safety for Reliable Operations
Safety remains a top priority. W5 features a redundant drive-by-wire chassis, multi-sensor perception, emergency braking, collision warning, and real-time vehicle status monitoring. Its cloud-based control platform ensures remote monitoring and risk prevention, guaranteeing secure and reliable logistics performance.
Intelligent Management for Seamless Operations
W5’s cloud-based intelligent dispatch system continuously monitors vehicle status, optimizes task allocation, and enhances operational efficiency. With remote OTA updates, customers can access the latest features while minimizing maintenance costs.
WeRide also provides 24/7 customer support, on-site training, customized solutions, and professional after-sales services. Additional benefits include free warranties and IoT connectivity to ensure worry-free operation.
“The launch of W5 marks another milestone in WeRide’s expansion into autonomous freight transportation and showcases our ability to deploy self-driving technology across diverse urban scenarios,” said WeRide founder and CEO Han Xu. “From Robotaxi passenger services to Robosweeper urban cleaning and now W5 autonomous logistics, WeRide is building a comprehensive autonomous driving ecosystem, accelerating the commercial deployment of self-driving technology worldwide.”
