XCMG Electric Heavy Trucks Begin Service in Beijing, Advancing Green Transport
On November 1, 2024, XCMG held a successful ceremony themed "Zero-Carbon Era, A Shared Future," marking the signing and delivery of a hundred XCMG new energy heavy trucks. These electric trucks were handed over to clients on-site and will soon be used in construction projects across Beijing, supporting the city’s green transportation goals.
In recent years, Beijing has strengthened environmental initiatives, promoting new energy vehicles and improving freight transport methods. This delivery marks the first time XCMG’s electric heavy trucks have entered the Beijing market, equipped and ready to meet local demands.
XCMG’s new generation of fully electric trucks, the XG2 EX630S model, features high-density lithium iron phosphate batteries that deliver long-range capability, extended battery life, and efficient charging. The trucks are powered by a dual-motor system that provides high power, strong torque, and light weight, ensuring continuous power during transport.
With an integrated charging and battery-swapping system, these trucks can complete a battery swap in just three minutes. The dual-port fast charging setup can recharge the battery from 20% to 80% in only 40 minutes, making them ideal for short- and mid-range trips. Additionally, the trucks use multiple energy recovery modes that adapt to different driving conditions, maximizing energy use and enabling low-energy, eco-friendly travel.
XCMG’s trucks are built for reliability, featuring industry-leading protection for the electric system, high uptime, and ten comprehensive safety features to ensure user safety.
XCMG has always prioritized customer needs, aiming to provide more value and lower operating costs through complete green transport solutions, helping clients transition smoothly into a "zero-carbon era."
XCMG’s new energy vehicles now operate in over 100 cities across China, with demonstration fleets of 100+ trucks in various locations, advancing China’s high-quality new energy sector.
Looking ahead, XCMG will continue to explore green transport options, understand market and customer needs, and contribute to more regions achieving their carbon-reduction goals.
