Farizon Secured its First Major Overseas Order for Electric Heavy Trucks
On September 19, during the IAA TRANSPORTATION 2024, Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group (Farizon) signed a memorandum of cooperation with Duvenbeck Group in Hannover, aiming for a win-win collaboration in the logistic business in Europe. Mike Fan, CEO of Farizon, and Hakan Bicil, CEO of Duvenbeck Group, signed the contract on behalf of their respective parties. Vice President of Farizon Shangguan Yunfei, General Manager of International Marketing Company Cook Xue, Duvenbeck Group CPO Wolfgang Kortus, Head of Corporate Development Moritz Kiepen, and other leaders attended the signing ceremony.
In 2024, Farizon continued to strengthen its efforts in overseas markets, particularly gaining significant attention in Europe. As a strategic partner, Farizon will prioritize logistics services provided by Duvenbeck in Europe. Additionally, Duvenbeck plans to place a large order for Homtruck, with the first delivery of 50 units for the next year, accelerating Farizon's expansion into the European market while contributing to the green and zero-carbon transformation of the European logistics and transportation system. Homtruck is the technical backbone of Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicle, born in China and designed to serve a global market. Its core competitiveness lies in safety, intelligence, and high efficiency. It represents a "zero-carbon heavy truck for the whole value chain," leading the evolution of efficiency and the restructuring of user experience. This collaboration not only marks Farizon's first major order for electric heavy trucks in the overseas market but also signifies the entry of the Homtruck into the European market. It is noteworthy that in the fourth quarter of this year, the world's first exclusively- developed large electric van—Farizon SV—will be officially launched in Europe. This extensive product portfolio not only enhances Farizon's global competitiveness and influence but also sets a new benchmark for high-quality international expansion among Chinese automakers.
Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group is the first commercial vehicle group in China to focus on the new energy field. It has established the largest new energy commercial vehicle research institute in China and is also the first new energy commercial vehicle brand in the world to achieve the milestone of 300,000 vehicles. At present, Farizon has established a new energy product matrix that includes heavy trucks, light trucks, micro trucks, LCVs, and buses. Many of its products have been exported to the Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, South America, and other countries.
Duvenbeck is a prominent inland transport and logistics solutions provider in Europe. Founded in 1932, the company boasts extensive industry experience and a broad array of market resources. It offers a comprehensive range of intelligent logistics services, including inland transport, contract logistics, and supply chain optimization, while also providing support for automotive, industrial, and agricultural customers with its own fleet of trucks. The collaboration will provide robust support for Farizon's electric heavy trucks in their international expansion. Through the integration of resources, Farizon aims to further promote the application of new energy commercial vehicles in overseas logistics scenarios, creating a green business model.
