BPW Group to Strengthen Transport Companies at IAA 2024
IAA TRANSPORTATION 2024 in Hannover is the meeting place for the international transport and logistics industry. The BPW Group exhibition booth in Hall A26 (Stand A30) is an important focal point at the centre of the leading trade fair for commercial vehicles and mobility solutions: as an international mobility partner for vehicle operators and system partner for vehicle manufacturers, BPW epitomises the core themes of the trade fair in a special manner. With intelligent solutions for trailers, BPW and its subsidiaries demonstrate how transport companies can gain more room for manoeuvre, control and efficiency for their business success.
With the intelligent iC Plus running gear generation, which is equipped with telematics as standard and uses artificial intelligence among other things, BPW and idem telematics are opening up new opportunities for vehicle operators to achieve efficiency gains – from optimised utilisation and brake performance analysis to controlling the transport process right through to driver, fleet and maintenance management. This brings transparency, security and predictability to the entire transport process. idem telematics, the European market leader for transport telematics, will also be presenting another AI function to support fleet managers and dispatchers in their daily work, as well as further developments of existing products and functions.
Dialogue with transport professionals is the focus of the trade fair presentation, which also includes a talk by experts. Instead of just talking about technology, the BPW Group will show how its solutions strengthen a transport company's ability to act, while politics, society and business are calling for greater efforts from the logistics industry to become more environmentally friendly. Because idealism alone is not enough - climate protection must also be economically viable so that transportation remains affordable for everyone.
This strategy is also reflected in the development of electrified solutions that are anchored in the reality of everyday transport. In this way, the ePower generator axle generates energy to supply electric or hybrid cooling units when the trailer is moving and braking. Depending on use and mileage, this can save up to 4,000 litres of diesel and reduce CO2 emissions by ten tonnes per trailer per year - and it pays off. Another solution for reducing diesel consumption is presented by BPW subsidiary Hesterberg. With an aerodynamic solution for the trailer, the diesel consumption of the tractor unit can be reduced by up to 0.4 liters per 100 km with minimal effort.
Visitors to the IAA will find the BPW Group with its brands BPW, Ermax, HBN-Teknik, Hestal and idem telematics in Hall 26, Stand A30.
