Sany Tops 2024 Hurun China Top 100 New Energy Potential Enterprises list
At the 2024 World New Energy and New Materials Conference on July 26th, the Hurun Research Institute released the "the 2024 Hurun China Top 100 New Energy Potential Enterprises list ," which highlights non-publicly listed companies founded after 2000 with valuations ranging from 1 to 15 billion yuan in the Chinese new energy sector. The rankings are based on company valuations.
Sany Heavy Truck ranked second on the list with a valuation of 14 billion yuan, and Han Jian'an, Vice General Manager of Sany Heavy Truck's Northwest Branch, accepted the honor on behalf of the company.
As a pioneer in Sany Group's transformation towards globalization, digitalization, and decarbonization, Sany Heavy Truck is rapidly advancing towards electrification and intelligence. They are disrupting the industry with innovative business models and will continue to lead through technological innovation, and inject new momentum into the development of cutting-edge sectors.
The surveyed companies in this list are from four sectors of the new energy industry chain: energy development (including solar, wind, hydrogen, nuclear energy, etc.), energy storage (including lithium batteries, battery materials, storage equipment, charging equipment, etc.), conversion and transmission (including power transmission equipment, distribution equipment, etc.), and application scenarios (including new energy vehicles, LED, etc.). New energy-related businesses of listed companies account for over 50% of their operations.
Chairman and Chief Research Officer of Hurun Report, Rupert Hoogewerf, remarked, "In the field of new energy vehicles, 21 potential enterprises made the list, including electric cars and two-wheelers, with 8 companies specializing in manufacturing and selling commercial electric vehicles. Companies like Sany Heavy Truck, valued at 14 billion yuan, stand out in the shift towards electrification, smart technologies, and the adoption of new energy in commercial vehicles.
