BRAZIL, APRIL 18, 2024 /chinatrucks.com/ --Recently, Foton received an order for 45 AUMARK light trucks from a logistics service provider T company in Southern Brazil. So far the customer has taken delivery of the first 14 units and put them into operation.
T company is specialized in refrigerated cargo transport in Brazil, with more than 300 logistics trucks in the fleet. The delivered trucks will be fitted with refrigerated cargo boxes for the transportation of refrigerated goods.
AUMARK is a light truck model with strong power and mainly for urban and intercity cargo services. It is powered by a Cummins F3.8 engine and a ZF six-speed manual transmission that produces 170 hp of power and 600 Nm of torque. It has a maximum load capacity of over 8,000 kilograms. The vehicle is fitted with engine brakes, a spring-loaded accumulator parking brake, and front and rear drum air brakes with ABS, ASR and ESC. The cockpit is also equipped with a multifunction steering wheel, cruise control, reversing sensors, MP3+Bluetooth and a driver's seat with mechanical dampers.
Speaking about the reasons for choosing Foton, the company's president said, "We chose AUMARK because it has a higher load capacity than similar models in the market. In addition, it is equipped with Cummins engine and ZF transmission, which makes the price very competitive. We trust the brand of Foton, which has a reliable after-sales service and sufficient spare parts stock in our local market in Brazil.
Brazil, one of the largest countries in South America, has a well-developed highway network and huge cities with large populations. There is a large demand for urban and inter-city cargo transportation vehicles. Since entering the Brazilian market, FOTON has focused on the truck segment targeting the urban logistics business, and has gradually started in-depth co-operation with local industrial customers by virtue of the high quality of its products and service network.
This order enables Foton to explore the Brazilian market more deeply and expand its influence in the Brazilian commercial vehicle industry. In the future, Foton will continue to work with industry customers, focus on customer value, and help upgrade the logistics industry in the Brazilian market.
