XCMG Delivered 100 hydrogen-fueled heavy trucks to Sinosynergypower
Recently, XCMG delivered 100 hydrogen-fueled heavy trucks to Sinosynergypower and both sides also signed an order for another 1,000 hydrogen-fueled heavy trucks at the delivery site.
The 100 hydrogen-fueled heavy-duty trucks delivered will be put into service at a mine in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, to promote the local transformation to green mines.
The hydrogen-fueled heavy-duty truck system can generate a rated power up to 110kW and works with an AMT transmission to provide a combined range of more than 450km. The drive motor equipped on this vehicle is independently developed by XCMG, and achieves 97% drive efficiency. After conducting thousands of hardware and software tests, XCMG found that the vehicle is well adapted to scenarios such as extreme cold conditions and steep slope driving in mining areas.
XCMG and Sinosynergypower also signed a cooperation agreement on promoting no less than 1,000 hydrogen-fueled heavy-duty trucks by 2025 to help China achieve its "double carbon goals".
At present, XCMG is working to transform itself into a technology-based and innovative automotive company driven by new energy technology. During January to November this year, XCMG’s new energy heavy truck sales saw an increase of 265% year-on-year, the highest growth in the industry.
