Dongfeng Cummins Engines Have Been Active in Qatari Market
Recently, 196 units Higer buses equipped with Dongfeng Cummins engines successfully completed their service at the final of Amir Cup, the highest level football match in Qatar. According to the sources, all the buses will also be put into service for 2022 World Cup held in Qatar.
In 2020, Higer successfully won a deal of 1815 units buses from Qatar. According to the agreement, all buses shall be equipped with Dongfeng Cummins ISD or ISL engines.
Delivering powerful performances and achieving extremely impressive fuel economy, Dongfeng ISD and ISL engines with China’s National VI Emission Standards have already gained great popularity in the market.
Having further cut its body weight by introducing light-weight materials, Dongfeng Cummins ISD engine has improved its fuel economy by 1%. In addition, it has already gone through extremely stringent tests with a total mileage of 3.5 million km.
Dongfeng Cummins ISL engine has significantly improved its reliability and durability. With a more integrated structure, it is smaller in size and easier for assembly. Thanks to its Inte-Brake, it can help the vehicle achieve the optimal braking performances and thus the highest fuel economy.
