Sinotruk Rolls Out New Product Range for Pakistan Market
Sinotruk recently rolled out six new vehicle variants for Pakistan market, which are equipped with Euro-3 engine technology besides having the option of consuming liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) as a third fuel. If taken these six new variants into account, the company's launched models for Parkistan market will be up to 13 models in total. According to statistics, there are already about 5,000 Sinotruk vehicles running on the roads in Pakistan at present.
It accords the quality standards of heavy-duty vehicles of Euro 2and Euro 3 with enhanced fuel performance. This new range of trucks will enable logistics companies to tackle critical industry challenges and boost their bottom line through smart Logistics.
Sinotruk, one of the leading Chinese state-owned heavy-duty truck manufacturer, has stepped in Pakistan market since 2013 by partnering with Dysin Automobiles Limited, who act as its sole distributor.
“We have faced some serious challenges in the past because people preferred scrapped or used trucks from abroad, but now the government has imposed restriction on this,” commented Dysin Automobiles General Manager Sales, voicing hope that annual demand for heavy commercial vehicles would now rise significantly.
Mr.Imran Malik CEO Dysin Automobiles Limited addressed atthe launching ceremony “We are at the stage where the technology will soon be ready for wider applications in heavy-duty transport. Cutting climate emissions from heavy-duty vehicles is an incredibly important task and our initiative to green energy trucks will accelerate development of more climate-friendly transport in Pakistan”
A spokesperson for Sinotruk said every two trucks sold in China, one is from China National Heavy Duty Truck Group. Furthermore, Sinotruk has developed its presence in over 100 overseas markets and its export volume reached 35,000 units in 2018. This sales volume is expected to continue raising on the back of initiatives taken under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and similar project investments.
