First Auman EST Rolls Off with Mass Production Starting Soon

www.chinatrucks.com: On March 15, 2017, at the assembly shop of Foton Daimler in Beijing, the first Auman EST super truck rolls off the production line, indicating that China’s first super truck comes into mass production and declaring that China’s high-end heavy truck stepping into the super truck era.
The first offline Auman EST is an internationally high-level and high-performance super truck created by Foton Daimler and China Intelligent Connected Super Truck Alliance (CICSTA: including Daimler, Cummins, ZF, Continental, etc.) based on Chinese users’ demands for light weight, intelligence, reliability, security, attendance rate, long service and low costs.
With respect to power, Auman EST equips Cummins X12 super engine which is exclusive for the “super truck”. In terms of security, EST uses ZF’s new TraXon automatic transmission and hydraulic retarder, working together with Cummins iBrake auxiliary braking system to make up a “super braking partner”, enabling driving more convenient and braking more safe. Regarding intelligence, EST has electronic air suspension, lane departure warning, and intelligent fleet management, hence better meeting high-level logistics users’ demands for swap trailer transport and precision instrument transport.
EST as an edge tool in Chinese highly effective transportation market jointly promoted by CICSTA is developed by Foton Daimler in the past 4 years in strict accordance with European standards using three core technologies of new energy, smart and connected vehicle and intelligence. Its superb performance in fuel consumption, quality, intelligence, security and comfortability is fully demonstrated by passing 10 million miles of actual road test and withstanding the harsh tests of DEKRA, German authorized testing and authentication agency.
