The 1000000th JAC 4GB Engine Rolled off

www.chinatrucks.com: On January 16, JAC held the rolled-off ceremony of the 1000000th 4GB engine. JAC general manager Xiang Xingchu and vice general manager Li Ming attended the ceremony.
In the past 2016, JAC sold all kinds of engines and transmissions 375.8 thousand units under the pull of vehicle market, having a good start of “the 13th Five-year”. Among them, 4GB engines were produced and sold nearly 290 thousand units, supported the development of JAC engine business efficiently.
On the ceremony, a decorated engine rolled off the line in the staff’s care. This memorable engine is a 1.6L gasoline engine. As the 4GB engine was independently researched, developed and designed by JAC, the design and construction of each system assembly have reached the advanced level at home and abroad. General Xiang and senior technician Xu Dewen unveiled the secret veil of 4GB engine, marking the 1000000th engine produced independently by JAC rolled off the line officially.
On April 1st, 2009, with the first 4GB engine rolled off and ignited successfully, the prelude of batch production of the first small displacement engine independently produced by JAC was opened. Subsequently, the 4GB engine began mass production, the first units tolled off the assembly line in 2010, the tenth units rolled off the assembly line in 2011, the fiftieth units rolled off the assembly line in 2015, and today, the 1000000th rolled off the line, completed the breakthrough from "zero" to "million" .
From the 1st to the 1000000th, 4GB series engines covered four displacements of 1.0L, 1.3L, 1.5L and 1.6L, matching JAC main products, all-round. JAC 4GB engine occupied the market rapidly with competitive advantage of exceptional performance and reliable quality. During time, three engines were awarded “China Chip” Ten Best Engines, harvested one after another joy and earned an industry reputation as the “Benchmark”
