Dongfeng Layouts Telematics with Huawei Technology

www.chinatrucks.com: Dongfeng Motors signed agreement with Huawei Technology on Oct., 17, 2014, and the two parts will conduct cooperation on auto electricity, intelligent auto, IT/ICT information construction etc. fields.
And the cooperation on vehicle-mounted fields includes electricity products, telematics, intelligent auto etc., and also vehicle-mounted telecommunication devices and its solutions in the future. And the cooperation can be divided into three phases:
Huawei will develop WindLink products and services for Dongfeng Motor in the first phase.
In the second phase, the two parts will develop products on telematics to realize communications between vehicle-people, vehicle-vehicle, and vehicle-cloud.
In the third phase, they will develop intelligent auto, and the ultimate products will be intelligent auto with human thinking and they can also drive automatically.
