www.chinatrucks.com: Volvo Group and Boao Forum for Asia jointly announce that Volvo will continue to serve the annual conference of Boao Forum for Asia 2014 as a diamond-level partner. It is the seventh time in a row to be a main sponsor of the forum, further upgrading the cooperation between the two parties.
Boao Forum for Asia offers a unique opportunity to display Volvo brand and is regarded as the best platform for groups and the world’s leaders and representatives to exchange opinions and discuss hot issues. On the other hand, Volvo will take this opportunity to display its commitment to sustainable development as an international leading business transportation and construction equipment manufacturer. “Volvo Group has long-term and sound cooperation with Boao Forum for Asia. The cooperation this year on the conference reflects our concern on this partnership. Volvo business is based on the grand vision of sustainable development. We are quite confident in the development in China and even Asia,” Olef Persson says.
Volvo has 80 years of history in China since the first one in 1934. Volvo Group settled in China in 1992. With years of exploration and development, Volvo China is the only one in the group having all Volvo business in local market besides the headquarters in Sweden.
Zhou Wenzhong, general secretary of Boao Forum for Asia says: “we are very pleased to see Volvo Group continues to play a key part in the forum. We hope to seek for new breakthroughs and patterns in the new round of revolution through meeting of minds of leaders from politic, business and academic sectors.”
The annual conference of Boao Forum for Asia 2014 will be held from April 8-11, 2014 in Boao, Hainan, China, under the theme of “Asia’s New Future: Identifying New Growth Drivers”. The conference will gather together world’s politicians, business leaders, exports, scholars and media representatives, etc. to discuss and promote cooperation in different levels in different fields.
