FAW Jiefang Sees a Rewarding Year by Selling 188,000 Units in 2013
www.chinatrucks.com: 2013 is a rewarding year for FAW Jiefang who sees a sales volume totaling 188,000 units and makes breakthroughs in several segments of the market. Learnt from FAW Jiefang’s Annual Business Conference 2014 on December 15, 2013, FAW Jiefang tractors rank No.1 in sales in China with its market share rising by 4%. The most popular product goes to the large and medium horsepower 11L engine J6 6x4 tractor. Medium cargo truck J6F sees a sales volume of 20,000 units. In light truck segment, FAW Jiefang sees a triple growth thanks to Shangliang series produced by FAW Jiefang Qingdao. FAW Jiefang sells 8000 units in the whole year, laying a solid foundation for its market position. It sells 7500 units of natural gas products with the market share rising by 25%. It is also worth mentioning that breakthroughs are med in the west market and the market share rises by 2%.
In the meantime, FAW Jiefang also develops 4P2S dealer app and TGC strategy specific to big clients to enhance promotion and innovation in the end user market. Through the TGC strategy it sells 7300 units of tractors, taking up 16% of total tractor sale. In addition, FAW Jiefang also develops financial products to boost sales increase.

In 2014, FAW Jiefang will proceed with its working principle of “improving capability, adjust structure, enhance service and strive for No.1” and upgrade its competitiveness of marketing system and brand image. FAW Jiefang sets a sales target of 177,000 units for 2014. The sales target for medium and heavy trucks is 162,000 units and for light trucks 15,000 units. The sales volume of Huwei will be 12,500 units and J5F 2,500 units.
