FAST Opens Transmission Company in Thailand
www.chinatrucks.com: Shaanxi FAST Automotive Transmission Group Co., Ltd. (FAST Group) held a launching ceremony for its whole subsidiary, the FAST Automotive Transmission (Thailand) Co., Ltd. in Rayong, Thailand on September 15 with the attendance of Phongthep Thepkanjana, vice premier and Minister of Education of Thailand.
The ASEAN Economic Community will be established by the end of 2015, and FAST Thailand hopes to expand its business in Thailand and other ASEAN countries at a fast pace with the support from local banks, said Li Dakai, chairman of the FAST Group.
According to a first senior vice president of Kasikornbank, the bank will meet with FAST Thailand company and design tailored financial products based on the company’s business planning.
The FAST Group is a leading supplier in China engaged in the production of heavy-duty truck transmissions, transfer gears, power takeoffs, wheel gears and castings with main clients such as Volvo, Dongfeng and Hino.
