Daimler: Dramatic Sales Increase in First Half Year
www.chinatrucks.com: Daimler AG’s truck division announces this Friday on Stuttgart that it sells 225,200 units of trucks in the first half year with a sales value of 15 billion Euro and a profit of 550 million Euro.

In 2012, Daimler sells 462,000 units of trucks with a sales value of 31 billion Euro and a profit of 1.7 billion Euro. In the first half of 2013, Daimlers sees a dramatic sales volume in its truck business. The order grows by 23% in the first half year and the growth in the second will outpace that of the first half, with a before-tax profit leveling off with last year.
