JAC: Rearrangement of Structure
www.chinatrucks.com: Learnt from JAC, the company has made adjustment on its multi-use vehicle marketing branch—renaming its Anhui JAC Multi-use Vehicle Marketing Branch into Anhui JAC Passenger Vehicle Marketing Branch and putting it into the passenger vehicle system.
Since 2009, JAC passenger vehicle and multi-use commercial vehicle have been two independent divisions in charge of manufacturing and marketing. Now, in order to strengthen the marketing effect, JAC combines the two manufacturing companies into passenger vehicle manufacturing company and two marketing companies into one passenger vehicle marketing company. Sources say that previously, leaders of manufacturing companies are also responsible for marketing, which will affect the effect of marketing. In order to enhance the manufacturing and marketing, the company decides to take this strategy.
After adjustment, General Manager of the new passenger vehicle company is Yan Gang, while the general manager of the new passenger manufacturing company is Li Ming, who was at engine factory. Vice General Managers of the new marketing company are Li Jianhua, former general manager of passenger vehicle marketing company, Tao Zhi, general manager of multi-use vehicle company, and Ge Xianwen, former general manager of multi-use vehicle company. Each of them will be respectively responsible for the marketing of “Heyue”, “Ruifeng” and “Xingyue”.
After the adjustment notice, JAC releases the sales performance in the first half year. Up to the first half of 2013, a total of 272,100 units are produced, up by 25.58% year on year; and a total of 273,500 units are sold, up by 21.01% year on year.
