Yu Zhengsheng Visits Volvo in Sweden

www.chinatrucks.com : Yu Zhengsheng, chairman of CPPCC, and a member of the top leaders in China, visited headquarters of Volvo Group in Sweden and met CEO of the company.

Volvo, a world leading supplier in vehicle and construction machinery, is able to satisfy customers’ needs in trucks, buses, construction equipments, ship engines, industrial-use engines as well as financing & after sales services.

 

In January this year, Volvo group signed an cooperative agreement with DFAC, acquiring 45% shares of DFAC Commercial Vehicle Company. The deal enables Volvo Group to become the largest producer of heavy duty trucks in the world.

During the meeting, Olof Persson, CEO of Volvo Group introduced the strategy of the group in the China market. The company is enjoying a better market performance.

 

Olof also underlined the vision of Volso, to become the leading supplier of sustainable transportation solutions in the world. He said: “Volvo Group has been dedicated to technological innovation so as to make contributions to the environment. Also the company is glad to expand business in China and help the industry grow.”
