The current logistics market in China is very fierce and how to survive in this low-freight-price market is to continuous optimize the operation model and cut down on unnecessary cost. Moreover, logistic firms need to consider on the differentiation in competitive advantages, especially for clients’ diversified demands. “The reason why we set up a new route between Shanghai and Urumqi is to adapt to the market demand on the one hand. On the other hand, Xinjiang market is what we are relatively weak in and we want to strengthen our diversified development leveraging on this new route.” further explained by Mr. Zhou. It is known that the transportation time from Shanghai to Urumqi by truck freight is 66 hours. To realize truly efficiency in this 4000km route, is a big challenge for vehicles as well as truck drivers.
