Production & Sales Data of China Cargoes in Feb. 2013
www.chinatrucks.com: In Feb. 2013, the production and sales volumes of China domestic cargos (Incomplete vehicles and semi-tractors included) were 215,883 units and 215,386 units respectively. The sequential growth rate of production volumes was down 27.77 percent and 19.21 percent. Their year-on-year growth rates were down 31.14 percent and 32.89 percent respectively.
In Jan.-Feb. 2013, the production and sales volumes of China domestic cargos (Incomplete vehicles and semi-tractors included) were 514,750 units and 482,001 units respectively.
Heavy Cargos
In Feb., the production and sales volumes of China domestic heavy cargos (Incomplete vehicles and semi-tractors included) were 44,422 units and 39,617 units respectively, down 41.49 percent and 49.29 percent respectively over Feb. 2012.
In Jan.-Feb., the production and sales volumes of China domestic heavy cargos (Incomplete vehicles and semi-tractors included) were 98,849 units and 82,643 units respectively, down 20.09 percent and 28.94 percent respectively over Jan.-Feb. 2012. From sales volume in the first two months, the top five heavy cargo makers were Dongfeng Motor (17,474 units), Sinotruck (15,659 units), FAW (11,625 units), Foton (10,969 units) and Shaanxi Auto (9,010 units). The total market share of the top five cargo makers were 78.33 percent.
Medium Cargos
In Jan., the production and sales volumes of China domestic medium cargos (Incomplete vehicles and semi-tractors included) were 170,036 units and 14,980 units respectively, down 30.84 percent and 38.74 percent respectively over Jan. 2012.
In Jan.-Feb. 2013, the production and sales volumes of China domestic medium cargos (Incomplete vehicles and semi-tractors included) were 42,136 units and 37,448 units respectively, down 2.26 percent and 6.18 percent respectively over Jan.-Feb. 2012. From sales volume in the first two months, the top five cargo makers were Dongfeng Motor (10,721 units), FAW (4,832 units), Chongqing Lifan Auto (3,789 units), Sinotruck (3,756 units) and Sichuan Nanjun Auto (3,493 units). The total market share of the top five cargo makers were 71.01 percent.
Light Cargos
In Jan., the production and sales volumes of China domestic light cargos (Incomplete vehicles and semi-tractors included) were 115,166 units and 11,795 units respectively, down 32.38 percent and 31.51 percent respectively over Jan. 2012.
In Jan.-Feb. 2013, the production and sales volumes of China domestic light cargos (Incomplete vehicles and semi-tractors included) were 278,603 units and 268,173 units respectively, up 0.68 percent of the production but down 2.12 percent of sales respectively over Jan.-Feb. 2012. From sales volume in the first two months, the top five cargo makers were Foton (53,024 units), JAC (33,439 units), Jinbei Auto (19,978 units), Dongfeng Motor (19,776 units) and Great Wall Auto (18,891 units). The total market share of the top five cargo makers were 54.11 percent.
Micro Cargos
In Jan., the production and sales volumes of China domestic micro cargos (Incomplete vehicles and semi-tractors included) were 39,292 units and 42,831 units respectively, down 7.97 percent and 7.20 percent respectively over Jan. 2012.
In Jan.-Feb. 2013, the production and sales volumes of China domestic micro cargos (Incomplete vehicles and semi-tractors included) were 95,162 units and 93,737 units respectively, up 16.94 percent and 10.74 percent respectively over Jan.-Feb. 2012. From sales volume in the first two months, the top five cargo makers were SGMW (29,497 units), Foton (19,130 units), Dongfeng Motor (16,875 units), Chongqing Changan Auto (14.593 units) and Shandong Kama Auto (4,189 units). The total market share of the top five cargo makers were 89.92 percent.
