Foton Sells 8,514 Heavy & Medium Trucks in Nov. 2012

www.chinatrucks.com: On Dec. 10th 2012, Beiqi Foton released its announcement of production and sales volumes in Nov. 2012. From the announcement, it is seen that, due to the depressed market, the sales volume of the light trucks decreased, but the sales of the Foton Cummins engines increased a lot.

Beiqi Foton sold 8,514 units of heavy and medium trucks (including the uncompleted ones), 42,244 units of light trucks (including minitrucks), 1,781 units of light buses, 399 units of large and medium buses (including uncompleted ones). Besides, it sold 13,808 sets of Foton engines, which increased by 46.82 percent. Among them, 6,343 sets of CTX engines were sold and 7,465 sets of Foton Cummins engines were sold.

In Nov., the production of Foton vehicles were 55,802 units, which increased by 11.97 percent. And the production of Foton engines were 13,089 sets, which increased by 32.55 percent.
