Profits of logistics decreases influence truck industry

www.chinatrucks.com: It is learned that some logistics companies are facing bankruptcy recently. Logistics volumes decreased by one third over last year, and employees salaries increased by 20%, so that the profits will be largely reduced.
Some truckers chose to pooling trucks to save costs, so sporadic freight transportation are rather hot. "Long-distance transport are just fine, infrastructure for earthwork cars, cement mixer trucks and steel transportation are suffering, " explained Li Gang, a trucker in logistics industry.
Commercial vehicle industry is also influenced by the decreasing logistics industry. Only 62,000 heavy trucks were sold in April, down 41% over last year, and April is supposed to be the hot season.
"As far as I know, sales Sinotruk, Shaanxi Auto and North Benz are decreasing," said Mr. Li.
