www.chinatrucks.com: Weichai Power developed the first heavy-duty engine with Common Rail electric system, ECU, and the releasing ceremony was held in Weifang on May 8, 2012. And foreign monopoly on this kind of engines has been broken by this.
Engine electric control is the core technology for modern diesel engine. ECU is like the brain of the engine, and China diesel engine development has been constrained by joint-venture for a long time.
