Paccar Darrin Siver: high-end trucks will have more shares
www.chinatrucks.com: Paccar showed total series of CF, LF, XF as well as two Paccar engines. Darrin Siver, VP of Paccar, was invited to be interviewed in live broadcasting room of Chinatruck.org, and he stated that sales of high-end trucks will increase in China, and imported trucks will get more shares.
As introduced by Mr. Siver, China has already been the largest truck market in the world, however, compared with truck market in North America, Europe and Brazil, the profits of China trucks are lower, which can be attributed to over capacity, which is twice of needs. China truck industry is still developing, which is necessary for any country. In the following five to ten years, customers will concern more use-cost, and Paccar trucks can provide better use-cost for their excellent quality.
