China Truck Emission Standard to Update
www.chinatrucks.com: Domestic light diesel engine vehicles can only be registered and sold when meeting national 4 emission standard since July 1, 2013. China is strengthening management for commercial vehicles with international green energy strategy and increasing emission standards.
Sources from CAAM said that it is rather easy for foreign engine makers to release products with national 4 emission standards, while domestic engines manufacturers paid much attention for market shares while omitting research and development of engine technologies.
