Domestic truck enterprise explores overseas market in 2010
(chinatrucks.com, Jan 25, 2011) The traditional overseas market shall be strengthened, and new rising market shall be actively explored. Overseas markets have gained some recognition from China truck enterprises.
The Middle East Market
At the moment, all over the Middle East Market needs lots of infrastructures, finances and logistics. Middle East Market is always the number 1 export market for Sinotruk. Sinotruk has inherited the advantages at Middle East Market in 2010, and has established the marketing networks for supporting Middle East market, including sales channels and after-sale service system.
Algeria Market
Lots of China enterprises have established plants in Algeria, and Shaanxi Group is the most representative one.
Shaanxi Group has initiated new market plan at Algeria market since 2010, which means that the CV export mode will be shifted to parts and components export. It will establish workshop in Algeria. Shaanxi Group is to establish four assembly production lines in Algeria. It could assembly all export vehicles for Shaanxi to Algeria.
Vietnam Market
SIH and Chenglong Motor are actively exploring Vietnam market.
SIH Genlyon has realized the first batch export plan to Vietnam in 2010. Chenglong Motor has established network at key market in South East Asia area. At the moment, marketing network, accessories network, and service network of Chenglong Motor have all covered Vietnam market.
Russian Market
Russia business attaches more importance to overall European market. CAMC is actively passing Russian products certification and Foton is making great efforts to establish CKD plant in Russia.
It takes nearly one year for CAMC to pass through products certification according to Russian regulations. At the present, CAMC has developed new vehicles for different areas and road conditions. These vehicles are quite welcomed by customers in Russia.
Foton Auto (Russia) Company Limited will realize CKD assembly production in Russia in 2010. It is planned that Russia will establish an auto production base with annual capacities of 100,000 vehicles by 2012.
In terms of export enterprises, it will strengthen R&D, improve products quality, establish great brand image and satisfy overseas customers’ popularity in order that it could win the recognition from overseas market.
