Caterpillar to invest and establish plant in Thailand
(chinatrucks.com, Jan 18, 2011) It is disclosed by Thailand Industrious Department that the largest engineering machinery manufacturer Caterpillar will establish plant in Thailand. Caterpillar plans to set up the undermining manufacturer base in Thailand in order to seize global machinery market.
Caterpillar establishes plant in Thailand will help improve the investment confidence in Thailand and will introduce more international group to Thailand. Otherwise, parts and components manufacturers in Thailand will contract these programs.
Caterpillar will settle the plant in Luoyong Fu, and it will take 60,000 square meters. It is planned to initiate at the beginning of 2011, and plans to complete at the end of 2012. It will become the third overseas plant of Caterpillar after it has settled the plant in Australia and Brazil.
