Foton aims at global development strategy

(chinatrucks.com, Jan 6, 2011)Foton Auto has published the five-year planning and ten-year target at the end of 2010, which mean "twelve five planning" and "2020 strategy". At the same time, the plan has specified the global development target of Foton. Foton will create global marketing capacities to complete the turning from local brand to international brand by products, marketing, service and technology.

Foton Auto will establish eight programs within next five years in accordance with “twelve five” planning of Foton Auto. Foton has planned five important key programs in Beijing, including Auman GTL new energy saving heavy truck plant, Beijing multi-functional vehicles, heavy duty machinery plant and gas engine plant as well as Beijing global innovation center.

At the same time, Foton Auto will establish global innovation center based on global business by strengthening global management, marketing, service and R&D capacities. Foton will re-structure company management frame and professional department business design in order to lay great foundation to the globalization process of Foton.
