Weichai-Baudouin (Singapore) branch company establish
(chinatrucks.com, March 26, 2010) Reporter learned from 11th APM on March 24 that Baudouin (Singapore) Branch Company is to be set up on March 25 in Singapore, and it is the first branch company in Southeast Asia registered by Weichai.
Weichai Group is famous for the largest engine research base in the world. It is established in 2002 with the capital located at Weifang, the kite city, in Shandong province, and it's the first listed company in Hongkong H share and the initial one returning home.Weichai has purchased French Baudouin engine company in 2009, and it has obtained the products, technology, and brand in Baudouin, and become the largest and strongest multifunction engine and power system.
The goal of international group has been built since the initial foundation of the company. Products has developed into 12 series, covering various kinds of products, and it is the research and development platform of high speed diesel engine. WD615, WD12, and WP10/12 engines have become the first choice of Sinotruck, construction machinery, and large truck.
Weichai Group has been kept the close relationship with ASEAN at trade area for a long time. As the most dynamic and energetic area, Southeast plays a very important role in economy development. Singapore, one of the representative countries in Southeast, has a great potential for economy development. It possesses great environment of technology and economy development, and it's the great place to seize the market trend.
