Great Wall Motor Attended the China International Auto Parts Expo
(Chinatrucks.com, September 27, 2009)On Sep 24th, 2009 the 3rd China International Auto Parts Expo was held in Beijing, on which 4 units of Engines and 4 units of Complete Vehicles independently R&D and built by GWM were displayed with the coverage area of over 200 M2. GWM showed its comprehensive capability to the outside once more.
In regard to the engines, four engine models independently R&D by GWM with serialized platform design including 2 petrol models of GW4G15 & GW4G13 and 2 diesel models of GW4D20 & GW3D15 were displayed. All the four engine models reach international advanced level, among which GW4G15 adopts DOC,4 cylinder in line,2 degree - charged,Double VVT, Displacement 1.5L, Max Power 112 KW, Max Torque 210N?M.
Under the current adverse economic situation the Great Wall Motor Company achieved the gross profit of 903 million RMB, net profit after tax 279 million RMB in the first half of the year 2009. Up to June 30, 2009 the total assets of GWM reach 12.6 billion RMB, the net assets up to 7.07 billion RMB. The credit of GWM accredited by CCB,BOC,ICBC and China MinSheng Bank has amounted to over 2 billion RMB. Meanwhile, the credit rating of 3A+ was awarded to GWM by many large - scale banks including individually operated banks in China. The huge development potential of GWM has been unanimously commented by international capital market, thus making the stock of GWM much popular among the HK and international investors.
In regard to the construction of hardware for R&D Great Wall Motor has done whatever the other enterprise can’t achieve, especially in the construction and use of testing center,trial produce center and molding center. The advanced facilities such as stimulation environment emission lab, fatigue lab,Engine R&D lab,Auto Impact lab,Road testing …etc have reached the leading domestic and international level, which has laid a solid foundation for the insistent independent innovation.
Up to 2010 Great Wall parts base will gather hundreds of parts enterprises with a certain technique and scale. At that time the production capacity of GWM will be up to 300,000 units in 2010, 400,000 units in 2011, 600,000 units in 2012, thus forming a gigantic scale of auto industry base with the local economic scale of 100 billion RMB.
