Sales of Qingling Motors Surged With a Strong Increase of 32% in April
It was reported that a strong growth in sales volume was achieved by Qingling Motors over the past few months of the year and Qingling Motors recorded a sales of 3,593 vehicles in April, representing an increase of 32% over the same period of last year. From January to April this year, Qingling Motors has sold a total of 12,475 vehicles, representing an increase of 15% over the same period of last year notwithstanding the expected negative growth in the sales of commercial vehicles in China from January to April (The sales volume of the commercial vehicle industry in China decreased by 6.1% as compared with the same quarter last year).
The rapid growth, though seemingly improbable, in sales volume achieved by Qingling Motors under the present unfavorable market environment was backed not only by the Companys optimized mix of commercial vehicles comprising light, medium and heavy duty vehicles, but also, more importantly, the efforts made by Qingling Motors in systematic cost reduction on top of its globally household brand name. With the outstanding cost-to-performance ratio attained, Qingling Motors has allowed more domestic users to buy branded commercial vehicles. In face of the sluggish external environment under the shadow of the international financial crisis, Qingling Motors has taken proactive initiatives in overcoming the challenges and impacts of the crisis and in expanding its market shares in high-end market while penetrating into the middle-end market for acquiring its share rapidly in such market by fully making use of its dual strengths in terms of brand name and cost-to-performance ratio.
