The 12th International Automobile & Manufacturing Technology Exhibition, which is just ended on April 28, is an international feast. All the truck makers prepared hardly to give an impressive effect. Chinese truck industry finally broke out in the exhibition after many years’ silence. Balong 507, Dongfeng Tianlong inside and other else indicated a special pageant.

When Chinese people talk about the scenery, they often mention the five great mountains. They are Tai Mountain/east, Hua Mountain/west, Heng Mountain/south, Heng Mountain/north and Song Mountain/center. The five mountains were the places where the kings did pilgrimages and awards and rather received the orders from the heaven. It was the symbol to set the country in peace. Here, we compare the similarities between the five great mountains to the five great trucks in the exhibition.

The east Tai Mountain---Benz
Since the five great mountains were set in Han dynasty, Tai Mountain has been in the first one place. The shape is steepy, the vigour is boundless. Mercedes-Benz is in the leading place of the world auto industry. It can match the figure of Tai Mountain. Its products are made in a background of deep culture and economy support. They always keep ahead.

Benz heavy truck Actros 2644 is covered by the dark pearl lacquer, which is only used on Benz cars before. There is a big space in the cab, more than 1.9 meters high inside the cab, and this satisfied most requirements. What’s more, it is equipped with the most advanced OM501 intelligent engine, reaching 440 horsepower, 130km/h. The transmission is with Benz special made intelligent shift system, it can be easily controlled. There is special designed display system for Chinese users. So we can know Benz Company put much attention on Chinese market. The driver seat is the most advanced all-around adjusted heating seat. The cab is hanged by air bag and this assures the comfort when driving on any road condition. The fuel capability is 830L that it can keep driving for 2,000 km without stop to refueling.

The west Hua Mountain---Dongfeng Tianlong
The steep of Hua Mountain ranks the first. There is a saying only one way on Hua Mountain. Although it is dangerous, the scenery is beautiful. The way Tianlong walked on is like Hua Mountain that can’t be shaken.

Dongfeng is an old brand; there is no doubt about its power. The DFL series Trailer shown on the exposition is high level equipped double rear trailer, equipped DF dci11 engine which is of Renault technique, reaching China III emission standard. It is fuel saving. It won the awards of the most fueling saving and the fastest. The cab is super big D310 which is designed by Dongfeng and Nissan. It is equipped with the widest sleeper in China of 800mm. The rears adopt American technology, high efficient and powerful load ability. ZF16 transmission can be easily operated. DFL is suitable for media and long transportation.

For many years, Dongfeng insisted on studying new high level heavy truck. They are going to create the top one in China, top three in the world. Walking on this way, Dongfeng never be indefinite. Although there are lots of obstacles on the way, they never move back. The naissance of Dongfeng is of great significance. It is like Hua Mountain, climbing on the dangerous slop.

The north Heng Mountain---Foton Auman ETX
Heng Mountain is famous for fancy. On the top of Mountain, green trees are like the carpet covering the surface. Temples and pavilions are everywhere. There are beautiful flowers and fresh grass. All these make up the 18 sceneries.

Auman ETX set the value concept that to be together with the world when it was still in the progress of design. It scaled itself with the world standard. Its technique upgrade can be the same as Heng Mountain.

High strength humanized body designed in Euro style. Auman ETX continued its big and powerful style. According to the aerodynamics, the ETX body is optimized. The windward area is only 6.98 square meters, comparing with the common 7.48 square meter. It can save fuel by 12% to 18%. On the power system, it is equipped with Weichai 06 engine specially supplied by Weichai power. It mixed MAN technology and WEVB brake system. The quality of brake rise by 55%. For the features of tipper, they designed the special power for construction. ETX heavy truck is also equipped with Eton S9 transmission. This assures the easy driving when it is on the complex road condition in China.

Safety is another lighting point of ETX. On the concept of design, both active safety performance and passive do well. The ETX adopts the new Euro cab frame design concept. What’s more, it adopts the WEVB engine brake technology especially for the Chinese heavy truck drivers. It avoids the fail brake and prolongs the use of engine. The Benz redirector enhanced the performance.

The center Song Mountain---FAW J6
Song Mountain is the famous scenic spot of Shaolin Buddhism. People say Song Mountain seems lying. FAW can be explained by Song Mountain. Collect all the intelligences all around the world to create first class heavy truck. This is FAW tenet.

This is the biggest engine in China by now. The lowest fuel consume when full loaded is only 195g/kwh.

The FAW Eton FS10209 transmission is one of the most important parts, which is 20 years ahead comparing with the others in China. It is the new China edition that combined with American Eton in technology, design and manufacturing. It is tight and small, 15% lighter than the others. Stronger climb ability.

J6 is a new landmark for FAW in commercial vehicle. Steady steps and never be eager for quick success and instant benefit.

The south Heng Mountain---Liuqi Balong 507
Heng Mountain is beautiful. It is called the only beauty of the Five. Balong 507 originated from Euro. In the exposition, 507 incarnated Euro technology. The whole steel body which is the only one who brings in the Euro unique optimized frame work. The cab is designed according to European people. It is the biggest truck cab in China. In addition, 507 carries Renault Engine which is the most powerful and highest level vehicle engine. Now, only Tianlong and Balong are equipped with Renault engine. 507 is made on Euro standard, so it can compete with the imported trucks. In recent years, engine is the core of heavy truck competition. Renault engine makes 507 stand higher. Here mentioned, the spray-paint line of Balong 507 originated from MPV’s. That’s to say Balong 507 is the only one truck that spray-painted by the car’s line. It’s rare in the world.

In the plan of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle, Balong 507 is built on the Euro technical platform. It aims to replace the imported trucks.
