Caterpillar invests $100 million for production base in Xuzhou
www.chinatrucks.com: On March 21, Caterpillar, the largest engineering mechanism maker, declared their new investment plan to build production base in Xuzhou.
The investment amount to 100,000,000 USD, and the factory will start to run in 2016, and CAT hydraumatic excvavtor production capacity will increase 80%.
Although needs for engineering mechanism are decreasing in China, Caterpillar is confident for China's future markets needs.
There over 300 Caterpillar products all over the world, and just a few of them entered in China. Sales revenues of Caterpillar will amount to 68 to 72 billion USD in 2012, and their sales in China is going to be increased in the following few years.
There are 17 factories of Carerpillar in China, and the production base in Xuzhou is their flagship plant.
